AN EARTHQUAKE CAUSES HAVOC AND DEATH IN BEVERLY HILLS — In the season three premiere, Beverly Hills is rocked by an earthquake. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) has spent the summer dealing with the aftermath of her rape by Mr. Cannon (guest star Hal Ozban, “Californication”), Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) are dealing with the absence of their father while Debbie (Lori Loughlin) tries to hold the family together. Teddy (Trevor Donovan) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) find themselves happier than ever until he suffers an injury that could end his tennis career. Navid (Michael Steger) welcomes Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) back from her summer tour with Javier (guest star Diego Boneta), but their arrival brings an unexpected death. Ivy (Gillian Zinser) and Dixon return from their summer vacation in Australia, while Annie and Liam (Matt Lanter) discover their friendship may be best if it ends. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Jennie Snyder Urman (301).

90210: The Complete Second Season DVD is released today, on August 24, 2010. Make sure you pick up your copy while waiting for the season 3 premiere (Sept. 13).

Kicking off another workday, AnnaLynne McCord was spotted arriving on the set of “90210” this morning (August 19).
The CW cutie looked to be in good spirits as she prepared to shoot scenes for the upcoming season of her hit show, along with costars Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, and Jessica Lowndes.
Yesterday (August 18), Ms. McCord toted her iPad around the set while sporting a sexy black dress in between takes. She also practiced her high kick while donning a pair of uber-short denim shorts and a navy blazer later on in the day.
In related news, AnnaLynne said she’d like to use her celebrity for a good cause. “It’s the humanitarian world that has grabbed my heart. I started to work a lot in this industry and to get really bummed out by the egocentric, everything is about me, blah blah, blah [attitude of Hollywood]. I’m actually going to talk to my peers about something that’s close to my heart – the fight to end human trafficking.”

On 90210, can you say who the guy who is going to come out of the closet is? Will he have a love interest? Also, what’s up with the rapist teacher guy? Is he out?
No, I can’t name the gay character (sorry—I’m glad you asked, but I can’t tell!) but I can tell you he definitely will have a love interest, and actor Kyle Riabko has been cast to fill the tole. As for Mr. Cannon, I’m told he’ll be Silver’s senior advisor. Dun dun dun.
Brandon: Anything else on 90210?
How about an Entourage-ish crossover? Naomi is going throw a crazy-lavish 18th birthday party early in the season and Adrian Grenier’s band Honey Brothers has officially been named the house band. Pretty cool, huh?
