- HOLLYWOOD starlet Anna-Lynne McCord will be jetting into Ireland this week for four days.
The former model, who has starred in Ugly Betty and CSI: Miami, will be taking time out of her busy schedule to host a celebrity party on Saturday night in the Wright Venue.
The blonde actress, who shines on 90210 as Naomi, the gorgeous bad girl with a heart of gold, will be mingling with clubbers and fans at the top Swords nightspot.
Kellan Lutz and his girlfriend, AnnaLynne McCord, touch down after a flight to LAX airport on Sunday (August 29).
The 25-year-old actor and his sweetie were down in New Orleans, Louisiana helping build houses with the St. Bernard Project!
“We have a building goal of around the clock building 5 houses in 7 days,” Kellan tweeted, “ending tomorrow on the 5th anniversary [of Hurricane Katrina].”
AnnaLynne made her trip a family affair – her aunt, sister Angel and friends all came along to help out!

Reality Cares will celebrate Emmy weekend with a whole host of celebrity charity events this week.

Reality Cares is hosting a Giving Lounge where celebrities will be asked to “give back” in order to receive the event sponsors’ hottest products.

Reality Cares Cancer Benefit sponsored by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and JetBlue to benefit The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles, a non-profit that provides free education and support for people living with cancer.

Kids will celebrate summer and charity with a little celebrity help this Saturday, August 28, at the Los Angeles Mission.
Fifth Street between Wall and San Pedro will be transformed into a playground with food, games, prizes, crafts, face painting tent, giant inflatable slide and more. Children who live in the area will have a day of carefree summer fun at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual End of Summer Block Party. It was fun while it lasted, but it sounds like AnnaLynne McCord is beginning to doubt whether Hollywood is the place for her.
“It’s the humanitarian world that has grabbed my heart,” the 23-year-old starlet explained to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Crest 3D White’s Breakthrough Awards in Hollywood, Calif. August 15. “I started to work a lot in this industry and to get really bummed out by the egocentric, everything is about me, blah blah, blah [attitude of Hollywood].”
She continued, “I’m excited that Breakthrough has given me this opportunity, and I’m actually going to talk to my peers about something that’s close to my heart – the fight to end human trafficking. It’s a serious issue and I don’t feel like enough people know [about], especially in young Hollywood. If they use their power and their influence on the youth today, we could make changes in this world. It’s been a kind of remolding of my life [lately]. From when I was nine years old, I was like ‘I want to be a movie star’ but then you get to places and you realize it’s not always what it’s cracked up to be.”
Sounds to us like AnnaLynne is modeling herself after U.N. Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie – and AnnaLynne doesn’t deny she wants her life and career paths to follow Angie’s. “[Angelina] is one of the most incredible women I’ve ever seen in this industry.I would love to be half the woman she is!”
Another thing she wants: to be an action hero like the 35-year-old Salt star. “Bye, bye male superheroes!” she laughed. “It’s all about the Angelina Jolie’s and the future AnnaLynne McCord comic book star. I love strong females. I’d love [to play] a strong female superhero role that shows the male superheroes that we can keep up, that we can kick butt too!”
Do you believe AnnaLynne when she says she’s just a naturally lucky lady when it comes to weight or do you think she’s gone scary skinny to score roles in Hollywood?
AnnaLynne McCord is one of the slimmest celebrities in Hollywood, and she wants you to know that she doesn’t diet and certainly doesn’t try to be skinny!
“I am first and foremost very blessed with good genes,” the 23-year-old starlet told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Breakthrough of the Year Awards – where she received Crest 3D White’s Standout Performance award – August 15. “So I don’t want people to think that [I try to be skinny].”
She added, “I’d like to prove my point that I’m not lying to you – look at my sisters [Angel and Rachel, whom she brought to the event]. We are very blessed. There is also the dynamic of cardio, or whatever else works for you, but for me it’s all about anything fun. I have ADD – not clinically diagnosed, but it might as well be – so I go off crazy. I like things like hiking and belly dancing and rock climbing and random things that are outdoorsy that gets your heart rate going, but aren’t boring treadmill things. No offense to gym-goers, but that’s just not for me. So that would be a non-routine routine.”
But surely Ms. McCord must diet — just look at her! “As for diet, you’re just going to hate me. You’re going to be mad at me,” she tells us. We make no promises.
“Dieting wouldn’t be possible in my life,” the 90210 actress assures us. “If I did not have good genes, I would be the size of a barn.” When we express doubts, she continues, “I love to eat, so it’s all about southern home cooking. I was at BBQ Blues or something on Santa Monica this morning – and oh my god, do they not have the best babyback ribs ever in the universe! The mac and cheese with four cheeses is ridiculous.” She added, “It sounds like I am doing a commercial for them, but don’t hate on the whole no-diet side!”

The Breakthrough of the Year Awards is a red carpet event celebrating a diverse range of extraordinary talent in multiple fields of excellence including film, TV, sport, music, the arts, technology, philanthropy and social media.
He’s in good company, with AnnaLynne McCord of 90210, Jessica Szohr of Gossip Girl, and Sofia Vergara of Modern Family all being honored as well.

AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz are asking fans to help out the St. Bernard Project in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge in hopes of winning $250,000 to help Katrina devastated families back into their homes.
Both AnnaLynne and Kellan have volunteered with the St. Bernard Project and it is a cause that is near and dear to their heart. The very first day he got Twitter, Kellan posted a picture of himself wearing a SBP shirt, and this morning AnnaLynne sent in a video urging voters to go online and vote for the St. Bernard Project in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. With this $250,000, the St. Bernard Project will also be able to expand their Center for Wellness and Mental Health to provide vital mental health services to victims of the oil spill and provide jobs for out of work fishermen doing construction on Katrina-ravaged homes. Voting started August 2nd and will go until August 31st.

I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of money – $2.50 – but if everyone joins together it will help us at TBP reach the goal for 2010 and that would make me so very, very happy.
